We are half way to our goal!

A huge thank you to everyone that took part in the Nelson Hustle! Whether you watched one of our great Oscar contenders, attended the gala, up-sized your popcorn or made a donation, every action counted! Collectively we are now half way to our $30,000.00 goal!

With only $15,000.00 left to raise (that’s only 60 seat sponsorships!) we are well on our way to a new/faster/larger/more efficient popcorn machine, fountain pop, bigger coolers, and other to-be-seen treats for our new concession.

An upgraded concession means less line-ups, more selections, bring-your-own-drink-containers, and more!

The concession is traditionally the biggest profit centre for a cinema, so for the Civic an upgraded concession also means a healthier bottom line which relieves our bean-counters, and helps us pay for new projector bulbs, additional staff and, of course, for the design of our ultimate goal – multiple screens for more flexibility.
