Advanced Tickets are now online

Wow – with new movies every week we’re setting up the next weekend before we’ve had a chance to breathe from the last one! Online tickets are now available for this coming weekend – sorry about the delay. Online tickets are sold via PayPal from our website civictheatre.ca. As we fine tune our internal workings we hope to have advanced tickets available for sale as soon as we’ve confirmed the movie titles.

Please note, we only sell a maximum of 100 tickets per show online, leaving (at least) 146 available at the door prior to the screening.

It’s Oscar time at the Civic Theatre!

Thanks to our friends at Stevens Electronics, we will project a live-streamed satellite broadcast of the 2014 Oscar Awards. We've decided to make it by donation (pay any price) instead of selling regular tickets. Of course, all donations go towards the $30,000.00 goal for our concession upgrades.

Bring on the (non) Profit!

We are very pleased to announce another giant leap forward for our theatre's future! The Nelson Civic Theatre Society is now a fully registered non-profit society. Now we have full society status we can begin our fundraising efforts as well as form our Board of Directors and identifying the working groups and committees we need to re-open our theatre. If you are interested in volunteering your skills and energy and would like to be involved with this very exciting project please send us your contact information and comments.
