The Nelson Civic Theatre Society (NCTS) is pleased to announce our 2016 Annual General Meeting, which will take place on October 30 at 1:00pm at The Civic Theatre, 719 Vernon Street, Nelson, BC.  Members in attendance will be invited to stay for a free film screening of Labyrinth, featuring David Bowie) at 2:30pm.

Materials and an agenda for the meeting will be available soon.

Slate of Nominees for Election to Board of Directors 2017

This year, the slate of nominees are all currently serving on the Board and are standing for election for a new two-year term.  They are:

John Brand

Heather Kennedy

Marilyn Mint

Darryl Santano

Jan Wright

This is the slate that is recommended by the board based on identified experience and skillsets.  Expressions of interest in being added to the board slate can be sent to board@civictheatre.ca by October 14, 2016 at noon.  A nomination package including an application form will be available at the office.

The doors will be open at 12:30pm to allow time for memberships renewals, as needed.  Please note that there will be no opportunity to purchase a new membership on the day of the AGM. Only members who are current as of October 21 will be eligible to vote.
