The Nelson Hustle begins Thurs. Feb 20th and continues through March 6th. 8 Oscar nominated films will be brought to our big screen as part of our concession upgrade fundraiser. On Saturday, March 1st join us for our Anniversary Gala - Doors (and the bar!) open at 7pm through 12:30am. All revenues earned during the 2-week Hustle will go towards our well-needed concession upgrade. Please note this will be our only public fundraiser this year - please consider donating to help make your theatre better than ever.

Imagine the possibilities of multiple screens and presentation spaces, coupled with the latest digital video technology and a fibre-optic internet connection to the rest of the world. We have developed this vision and brought our community together to do much more than temporarily rescue an aged, unsustainable, single-screen movie house. Much more than a theatre, The Civic Theatre will be a future-ready Cultural Media Centre.
