The happy crowd spilling out of the Nelson Civic Theatre last night, Thursday Aug. 15th was a reminder of Nelson’s long-term love-affair with film, now reignited with the re-opened theatre showing movies five days a week.  The Civic features Hollywood films on weekends and Cheap Tuesdays, and on Thursday nights offers independent and art-house films that deserve to play on just a little bit longer out on the sidewalk with fellow viewers.
