The Suicide Squad brings our full-week commitments to a close.

It has been an epic chunk of singular programming, and possibly if we had a crew like the Suicide Squad (rated PG) as The Civic’s negotiators, we would have enjoyed more flexibility in our summer calendar, but as it is the Squad will bring our on-the-break marathon to a close starting Friday, Aug. 5th.

A secret government agency recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions in exchange for clemency. Starring Oscar nominee Will Smith (“Ali,” “The Pursuit of Happyness”), Oscar winner Jared Leto (“Dallas Buyers Club”), Margot Robbie (“The Wolf of Wall Street,” “Focus”), Joel Kinnaman (Netflix’s “House of Cards”) and Oscar nominee Viola Davis (“The Help,” “Doubt”).
